SEAL Analytical Germany

SEAL Analytical Germany

A Legacy in Continuous Flow Analysis

Located in Norderstedt near Hamburg—a hub known for its maritime heritage—SEAL Analytical Germany has long been at the forefront of continuous flow analysis (CFA) and automated nutrient analysis. Our history traces back to 1987, when Bran+Luebbe acquired Technicon, the original manufacturer of the world’s first continuous flow analyzer: the AutoAnalyzer, along with the AutoAnalyzer II. Bran+Luebbe continued to produce the influential AutoAnalyzer II (AAII), which shaped many EPA methods still referenced today, and built on the success with the AutoAnalyzer 3 (AA3). In 2006, the continuous flow analyzer division became SEAL Analytical Germany, forging a direct link to the pioneers of autoanalyzer technology. By 2010, our growing team moved into its own dedicated facility across the street, further expanding production capabilities and technical support. Today, we combine decades of expertise in developing advanced autoanalyzers and SFA systems with a commitment to quality and innovation, delivering robust nutrient analysis solutions to laboratories across Europe and beyond.

Modern Innovators in AutoAnalyzer Technology

Building on the legacy of the original AutoAnalyzer, SEAL Analytical Germany manufactures the AA500, QuAAtro39, and AA100 AutoAnalyzers—our latest generation of segmented flow analyzers (SFA, a type of continuous flow analyzer). These systems deliver ultra-low detection limits and support a wide range of inline sample pretreatment options, making them top choices for automated nutrient testing worldwide. Leveraging a rich heritage and modern engineering approaches, they continue to raise the bar in precision, efficiency, and reliability for laboratories across diverse industries.

In addition to developing, manufacturing, and supporting our segmented flow analyzers, SEAL Germany serves as a sales and support hub for all SEAL Analytical products, including discrete analyzers, robotic handling systems, and automated digestion blocks. Expert sales representatives are experienced and well-versed in laboratory needs and regulations, and factory-trained support chemists and service engineers are prepared to assist our customers with integrating new systems into their laboratory and providing hardware, software, and chemistry support.
